All barricading companies and contractors are REQUIRED to coordinate with the various conventions and special events happening in Las Vegas. This is especially important near the Resort Corridor as the Sands Expo and the Las Vegas Convention Center are within close proximity to one another.
Sands Expo:Due to the increased volume of people accessing the Sands Expo during a convention, Clark County is notifying barricading companies and contractors that there may be restrictions to the working hours in the following areas:• On Sands Ave. from Las Vegas Blvd to Paradise• On Spring Mtn. from Las Vegas Blvd to Polaris• On Koval Ave. from Sands Ave. to Harmon• On Flamingo from Las Vegas Blvd to Paradise
Streets listed above are currently all restricted under Title 30 “C” time restrictions (9:00 pm to 6:00 am, expect no work on holidays and Friday night through Sunday morning) so there should be minimal impact. As a reminder, the hours of 9:00 pm to 6:00 am include setup and teardown and any violations of the time restrictions may result in investigative penalties.
• On Las Vegas Blvd from Resorts World to Flamingo Las Vegas Blvd is an “E” time-restricted street per Title 30 (1:00 am to 9:00 am Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays and weekends). However, work on Las Vegas Blvd may take place between1:00 am to 6:00 am (including setup and teardown). Clark County prefers that no work on Las Vegas Blvd take place.

As a reminder, the hours of 9:00 pm to 6:00 am include setup and teardown and any violations of the time restrictions may result in investigative penalties.
• On Joe W. Brown from 1,000ft south of Karen to Desert Inn• On Desert Inn from Paradise to Joe W. Brown Streets listed above are currently all restricted under Title 30 “A” time restrictions (7:00 pm to 6:00 am, 7 days per week) or “B” time restrictions (9:00 pm to 6:00 am, 7 days per week). When a convention is taking place, the time restriction will be 9:00 pm to 6:00 am with no work taking place on Friday orSaturday nights.
• On University Center Dr. (formerly Swenson) from McCarran Airport to Desert Inn• On Convention Center Dr. from Paradise to Las Vegas Blvd Streets listed above are currently all restricted under Title 30 “D” time restrictions (9:00 am to 3:00 pm and/or 9:00 pm to 6:00 am). When a convention is taking place, the time restriction will be9:00 pm to 6:00 am with no work taking place on Friday or Saturday nights.
• On Sierra Vista from Paradise to University Center Dr. (formerly Swenson)• On Elvis Presley from Las Vegas Blvd to ParadiseThe streets listed above do not have set time restrictions per Title 30 and therefore most work takes place from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, during a convention, work may take place between 9:00am to 3:00 am (including setup and teardown). Clark County prefers that no work on Sierra Vista and Elvis Presley take place.
• On Las Vegas Blvd from Resorts World to Elvis Presley Las Vegas Blvd is an “E” time-restricted street per Title 30 (1:00 am to 9:00 am Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays and weekends). However, work on Las Vegas Blvd may take place between 1:00 am to 6:00 am (including setup and teardown). Clark County prefers that no work on Las Vegas Blvd take place.
